Julia Buchanan brings over 12 years of non-profit management experience in accounting, programs, event management and 4 years of fund development expertise to St. Gerard House. As a mother of an autistic adult, her experience with autism spans movements in the industry.
In 2022 she graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University with her Master of Business Administration. She graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Management at Indiana University and a minor in economics. She is a certified Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) educator, an Association of Fundraising Professionals member, and is trained in Lean and Six Sigma.
